The coronavirus has been making its waves for about 3 years. No matter where you draw a line on the timeline, you will find quotes from people who claimed at that time that the pandemic was over. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The current winter, which tends to be less severe in COVID-19, gives reason for optimism that the end of the pandemic is now indeed near. In this video, molecular biologist Martin Moder explains when a pandemic is over and what contribution we can make to get as close as possible to this end.
