The Corona vaccination is one of the vaccinations generally recommended in the Impfplan Österreich 2023. It is therefore offered free of charge in Austria until further notice and is possible for children from the completed 6th month of life.
Generally recommended is the vaccination for all from the completed 5th year of life and for children from the completed 6th month of life, if there is an increased risk for a severe course of COVID-19. For basic immunization, a total of three partial vaccinations are recommended, followed by a booster vaccination at regular intervals.
